One of the questions we’re asked most often at Dedito is about the sizing of our boots!

All our boot models are handcrafted by an established family of Italian bootmakers in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy.

The lasts (moulds) used by the factory are slightly slimmer than standard UK fittings, so we find many customers choose to go up half a size — sometimes even a full size — from what they would usually wear.

Of course, every foot is different. For the best fit, your boots should:

• feel snug across the top of your foot without pinching
• you should be able to wiggle your toes comfortably without touching the front
• your heels shouldn’t lift or slop about when you walk
