National Tree Week - 26th November to 5th December
Trees are true heroes of nature. They sustain wildlife, create oxygen, purify our air, create and shape our landscape and to top it all off, they look beautiful.
Not only are trees essential for life, but as the longest living species on earth, they give us a link between the past, present and future.
National Tree Week is the perfect time to celebrate our trees. The winter planting season is here, so it’s the perfect time to get planting. Trees and hedgerows are some of the most powerful tools we have in the fight against climate change. And the good news is that we can all make a difference by planting a tree!
Whether you plant a tree in a pot on your doorstep, a hedge in your garden or on your land or farm, or a new woodland, every tree will help us grow a greener future.
