Our latest delivery of wellies have arrived with us with some minor cosmetic imperfections; but as these wellies are still great in terms of fit, feel and functionality, and with thicker rubber and a tougher sole than previous batches, we really weren’t comfortable with them simply ending up in landfill!
We have had the wellies out for testing with local farmers and gamekeepers since early January and selling them at our game fairs this summer and we have had some great feedback. They have proved very popular, with customers often commenting that they wouldn’t have noticed the imperfections if we hadn’t pointed them out!
The imperfections, as can be seen from the images, can include black paint marks, small indentations in the rubber, excess glue lines or poorly finished edges.
